Crane Merchant Motor Harness Repair Service


Manufacturer prices for replacement motor harnesses are in the region of £150 -£180, We specialise in repairing your damaged motor harnesses for Crane Merchant Classic and Merchant Media vending machines at a cost effective price, ensuring snapped connections are rejoined correctly as per the manufacturer circuit diagrams. Better yet if its beyond economical repair you'll get a refund minus return postage!


(Compatible with C4499023 CR0029415 C4499022 C4499025 C4499024 C4499033 C4499034 CR0007442 Merchant series motor tray harnesses – 4-motor, 6-motor, 8-motor, etc.)


Currently we are only able to repair the 2 row 10 pin harness and not the older 1 row Focus harness



What we repair (Whats included)

  • Broken, snapped, frayed, or cut wires

  • Damaged insulation

  • Minor to moderate harness damage from normal wear, vibration, or accidental pulls


Typical turnaround: 5–10 business days from receipt (plus shipping time). We test every repaired harness for continuity, proper pin seating, and functionality before shipping it back.


Important Repair Limits and Conditions


To keep repairs cost-effective and reliable, we have the following guidelines:

We can confidently repair harnesses with limited damage, such as:

  • Up to 7 snapped or broken wires (per harness)

  • Minor connector damage where pins can be repaired or replaced

  • Frayed insulation on individual wires


We may decline or require a custom quote for severe damage (Whats not included), such as::

  • More than 7 broken wires

  • Harnesses where most or all wires are snapped, cut, or missing

  • Missing, melted, or completely destroyed connectors/plugs

  • Harnesses that appear burned, heavily corroded, water-damaged, or modified

  • Any harness that is no longer economically repairable compared to buying a new replacement


Additional costs:

  • Missing or severely damaged connectors requiring replacement are charged at £5 each


How it works:



  1. Purchase the number of harnesses you require to be repaired (£40 per harness), make a note of your order number and place it inside the package and then post it to:

  2. We will assess the damage and reply with one of the following:

    • Approval to proceed at our standard repair price

    • A custom quote for extensive repairs (if feasible)

    • A recommendation to purchase a new harness instead (we can advise on OEM or aftermarket options if needed)


If we determine upon receipt that the harness is outside our standard repair scope and you decline the custom quote or replacement recommendation, we will refund you (minus return postage) for each harness that does not meet our standards and post it back to you at your expense (or dispose of it if you prefer).


Shipping & Liability Notes:

  • Customer is responsible for shipping the harness to us (well-packed to prevent further damage).

  • We are not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping to or from our workshop.

  • All repairs carry a [e.g., 90-day / 6-month] workmanship warranty against defects in our repair work (does not cover misuse, further mechanical damage, or shipping issues).
